Jamie - Orchestra

Despite Dress Rehearsal, I grabbed Jamie from Play practice long enough to perform at her Orchestra Concert last night. Her teacher was so wonderful and understanding, and she did a great job. Her teacher loves fiddling, so they always do a fiddling number in the second half of the year. They also did a combined 4-8 grade fiddling piece that was so fun. Poor kid, she's getting VERY TIRED!!! Good thing this play starts on Friday, I don't know if she could take much more of this schedule!

Erin's 1st game

Yesterday, Erin had their first Basketball Game!!! They did GREAT and were SO FUN to watch!!!!!! It was too short, we all wanted to watch more! They won 34-8 - woo-hoo! Erin did great - trying to figure out exactly where she's supposed to be, but I think she was great - she even fouled someone ( I know that's not supposed to be good, but it is for Erin because it means she was being aggresive :) ).

SHE MADE IT!!!

ERIN MADE THE JR HIGH BASKETBALL TEAM!!! She's very excited - she's wanted to play for a long time. She tried last year, but ended up with pneumonia and we just lived too far.

And, in case you're wondering - yes, this does make scheduling very interesting at our house! Good thing the Annie crew can carpool!

Random

All my kids love to collect rocks, but this one actually keeps them all! Laura found a place to keep them and I didn't even know! Here she's showing off her collection to her aunt. Kelcie is also into collecting rocks - I wonder where her stash is.....
One Sunday afternoon I looked out to find this....... ALL my kids playing outside! And, most of them were playing together!!! Do I need to remind you of the age range here? Erin had the idea to set up something with our playhouses upside-down, and got them all to play. Ethan decided he'd rather read on the trampoline. I was just thrilled they were busy and happy........together!

How to get your children (and husband) to FIGHT over mowing the lawn...........get a ride-on lawn-mower! We bought it from our cousin/neighbor who was moving, and the kids still love it.
