House Update

We now have textured wall, a staircase (yeah, Talin can now go upstairs safely), and brick on the outside!!! How exciting!!!

Happy Birthday, Talin!!!

Talin turned 2 on Sunday!!! Happy Birthday!!! He had a great birthday, even the day after moving. He totally "got it" this year - opening presents, blowing out candles - it was cute! He's my sweet big boy - although, he has decided to act "2" occasionally.

We're outta here!

O.k., almost. But, we're moving out tomorrow, and I have to pack up the computer until we get into the new house, so I thought I'd post one last time. I'll really try to post again from another computer and let you know how it's coming. In the mean time, enjoy my silly kids.

Cute Talin

Talin has decided that coloring is pretty fun - I got him a Wall-E coloring book and he thinks it's great! I also found an old Curious George one that he likes. He's learning his colors - he knows PINK and YELLOW - funny, huh? That's what happens when you have older sisters (Ethan's favorite color was pink for a while).
He's also helping us pack -I don't know how much he enjoys this whole process, but he seems to be making the best of it! Oh, that's a ring-pop in his mouth that he found in our cleaned-out pantry - lucky boy!

Drive-in

Last night we decided we needed a break from moving, etc. and something fun for the kids' Spring Break, so we went to the Drive-in! We saw "Race to Witch Mountain" and we really liked it! I was surprised - but, sometimes that happens when I'm not expecting much. We all got a Sonic drink and ate Licorice Nibs and Whoppers. It didn't even get too cold - so nice!

Packing......

And so it begins.......
or continues....... since we packed up half the house last August to try and sell the house. Talin loved crawling all over the food storage - and I was so glad I could let him since other boxes he can't. I am so glad the cannery sells just the boxes so all my #10 cans would fit nicely and not be too heavy! And, I'm off to do some more - wish me luck!

Science Model

Erin had to do a model of a living thing this year for the 7th grade Science Fair and she chose Bread Mold - it was actually pretty cool to do.

This is from the side -
And, this is from the top - Don't you love the neon spores? And the green mold (train set moss)? I thought she did a great job!

SOLD!!!

I've been reluctant to put this on, but a week and a half ago someone put an offer on our house, which we accepted, but we've been cautious until the 10 days and inspection period was over. But, that was yesterday and it sounds like they're going through with it - so WE SOLD THE HOUSE!!! Such a blessing! Last Fast Sunday, we fasted as a family that someone would find our house - and it wasn't immediate, but we've been very blessed and I'm so grateful. So, we're moving out in 3 weeks to Lafe's parents' basement until our new house is done - hopefully not too long. YEAH!!!!!
