It's DONE!!!

I was really nervous to take on this project, but I've been saving jeans and pants for it for 15 years!!! I was apprehensive at each step worried that something wouldn't work, but it did!!! I'm not sure why it worked, but it did and it's so fun!!!!!! And, what's really fun is how excited my kids get about this blanket - they love it because it has some of their pants in it.

Birthday Party

Tonight we had a birthday party for Ethan. We had a HUGE slip-n-slide with pizza and an ice-cream bar - really fun!!!!! The boys had a great time and it was fun to have them over.

Cool slide.....
Talin helping it be slippery
The boys were getting creative
and more creative.....
and, then there was Kelcie..... nobody else go this muddy, not sure how she did that!
I was glad to be able to do a real birthday party for him - it's been a few years for various reasons, and he's been a good sport about it, but it was time. Happy 13th Ethan!

Happy Birthday, Ethan!

Today is Ethan's birthday.........but, he's at Scout Camp..........so I didn't get to wake him up to opening presents, and make him breakfast and tease him all day and make his favorite dinner.........or even tell him Happy Birthday because they are out of cell-phone range (dad's). So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY ETHAN - Happy 13th!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (OH, no - 2 teenagers now?)

Summer Break

Summer break can sometimes bring out some creative boredom busters. This one the girls thought to do with their cousins - Spa Day!

Flag shirts

About 5 years ago, we got all the kids a Flag T-shirt from Old Navy and took them to get a picture - it's turned out to be one of our favorites, and the kids loved it because it was so casual. But, Kelcie was only 1 in that picture, so we've been wanting to do it again with Talin. We finally did it today! They didn't have the Flag Background that we had before, but it was still fun and the photographer had a great time with them.

Talin's 3 yr. old pictures - finally!

O.k., they're 2 1/2 months late, but they're done! And, doesn't he look so old????.............
